Hadrian's Wall Path | National Trail

Participants walking or cycling along Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site will be exposed to physical and emotional challenges, and find themselves in often remote rural areas, facing inclement weather conditions. Organisers must ensure that the route chosen is accessible, achievable and that adequate steps have been taken to ensure participant suitability and safety.

Note: The B6318 (the military road) is a fast and dangerous road. Please do not consider this as an alternative route to the Hadrian’s Wall Path National Trail.
