Can I use my concessionary pass?
Yes. English national concessionary passes allow free travel on the AD122 service after 9.30 in the morning (after 9.00am in Northumberland).
Can I use my disabled pass?
Yes you can, disabled pass holders can travel for free all day. All AD122 buses are low floor easy access.
Can I take my dog with me on the bus?
Yes. Well behaved dogs are allowed at no extra charge.
What do the Guides do?
The on-bus Guides bring your journey to life with an introduction to Hadrianís Wall Country and will answer all your questions. They even have some interesting objects to handle!
Can I book the bus for large groups?
No, but call the Hadrianís Wall Information Line and we will try to accommodate your group.
Where can I buy tickets?
You can buy all your tickets on the bus but also Rover 1, 3 & 7 day tickets are available at tourist information centres at Carlisle, Haltwhistle, Hexham and Newcastle.
Why is there only one departure per day from Newcastle?
There are very good bus and train links between Newcastle and Hexham to connect with the frequent AD122 service from Hexham to the Wall.
