Volunteers make path improvements at Clywedog reservoir

4th July 2014

Our excellent Powys County Council volunteers have been taking advantage of the good weather to do some more work on the National Trail.

Last year we started improving a section of the Trail at the lovely Clywedog reservoir. Bad weather stopped work and we have only just been able to go back to finish what we started.

We are digging out a section of very wet path and putting down stone filled gridmesh to create a mud free surface for walkers. Actually we are not finished yet but one more day on site will see the project completed.

This section near the sailing club is very popular not just with walkers but with families too and we think they will appreciate the improved surface when it is finished.
