Explore the interactive exhibition which traces the history of glass making in the City from the 7th Century to the present day or browse the gallery spaces where you can view the the work of leading contemporary artists in glass and ceramics. Experience the amazing daily glass blowing, lathe and flame working demonstrations which are are free and run throughout the day and if you're feeling creative the Centre offers a wide range of opportunities to have a go at making your own glass.

The Centre is located on the banks of the River Wear at Monkwearmouth in Sunderland.
