There are two diversions on the Path downstream of Goring. A short temporary diversion to the Thames Path in Goring downstream of Goring bridge has had to be put in place as a result of a collapse of the river bank from the flooding in July. Signage is in place showing the diversion route. Thames Water repair works adjacent to the Path at Gatehampton Manor downstream of Goring began in August 2007. The Path will be closed for 3 months and a diversion is in place, with signage on the ground.

Two Path closures downstream of Goring-on-Thames from August

A short temporary diversion to the Thames Path at Goring-on-Thames has had to be put in place as a result of a collapse of part of the river bank caused by the flooding earlier in the month.  The diversion, which is likely to remain in place for several months, is signed and takes walkers away from the river for only a few hundred metres.   Signage is in place showing the diversion route.

Thames Water are carrying out repair work to a pipeline close to the Thames Path at Gatehampton Manor, downstream of Goring-on-Thames, starting on 23 August 2007 and lasting for approximately 3 months. The Path will be closed at Gatehampton Railway Bridge and a diversion will be in place to take walkers along other existing rights of way, rejoining the Path on the eastern side of the railway line. Signage will be in place on the ground.
