      <title>Additional funding for repairing summer 2007 flood damage</title>

      <description>The Thames Path Route Management Team has received an additional grant allocation from Natural England for remedial works to 15 locations along the Thames Path and 1 location along The Ridgeway National Trails.The summer floods caused extensive damage along the Thames Path in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and downstream in Windsor and Maidenhead and Reading.  In total £65,000 has been allocated to Local Authorities to repair these sections, though the works are on hold until the river levels decrease, to allow for surveys and the works to be achieved.</description>
