How to get an Accommodation Listing

Are you an accommodation provider who would like to be listed on the South Downs Way accommodation pages?

The South Downs Way website is used by walkers, cyclists and horse riders who are planning a trip in the South Downs which may include walking, cycling or riding the whole or part of the South Downs Way.
If you feel that your accommodation can cater to the needs of one or all of these types of customer plus fulfil location criteria then you qualify for accommodation listing on this website.

Location criteria 

  • The accommodation must be within 5km or less from the SDW (measured using routes on public rights of way) or within one of the strategic public transport hubs in the South Downs.  These hubs are Petersfield, Arundel and Lewes.

To get a listing please complete the following form. Accomodation Form Please note that this is a generic form and not all fields will apply.
Completed forms along with an image of the accommodation or property can be returned by email to the Trail Officer: sdw@southdowns.gov.uk and they will be uploaded to the website.
You will be sent an email confirming the listing has been uploaded along with a direct link to the page.

Listings Updates

Due to limited resources the Soth Downs Way team are unable to regularly research updated details of service or price changes.  Therefore the accuracy of your listing is up to you. 

If you require any changes or additions to your listing please contact the Trail Officer: sdw@southdowns.gov.uk.  For lots of changes to a listing it may be easier to start the process from the beginning and complete the accommodation listings form.

The Printed Guide

 src=The South Downs Way National Trail team periodically produce a printed version of the accommodation guide which includes the basic information about the accommodation on offer.  The latest edition of the Accommodation Guide was printed in May 2010, so a new edition will not be considered until 2011 at the ealiest.  To download or buy a copy of the guide please click here.
