The South Downs Way has been shortlisted by a panel of experts and celebrities for Britain's best Coastal walk 2012 award! We need your help to ensure that the SDW gets the recognition it deserves.
The awards are run by Coast Magazine who are now asking the public to vote for their favourite coastal walk. Voting is open until 9th January 2012.
We are up against 4 other coastal paths, The South West Coast Path, Pembrokeshire Coast Path, Norfolk Coast Path and Cleveland Way, all are spectacular long distance coast routes and all are National Trails!
The SDW only has 7 miles of coastal path, but what magnificent 7 miles they are, clearly iconic and loved enough to go up against the big boys of coast paths. It's quality not quantity!
