Polesden Lacey, near Great Bookham, is a National Trust Regency Villa in an exceptional setting on the North Downs. It was remodelled in 1906 by Mrs Grenville, a well known Edwardian hostess, and contains fine collections of paintings, furniture, porcelain and silver. A walled garden, scented rose and lavender gardens, various country walks and a tea room are all found in the extensive grounds.
