A church of rarity! Much of this predominantly Norman Church has Saxon origins with the tower being the outstanding remaining feature.The wood screen in the upper level of the unique two storey sanctuary is reputed to be the oldest in England.There are also graffiti to be found in the Chancel of a series of circles and a Knight Crusader and a 13th century stained glass window, of the Virgin and Child in the lower sanctuary.
