      <title>Winter Lighting Event - Saturday 1st December 2007</title>
      <link>http://www.nationaltrail.co.uk/HadriansWall/article.asp?PageId=3&amp;ArticleId=77</link>
<description>Walltown is to come alive with music, sounds, explosions, flame and light bouncing around the quarry. As the crags come to life and begin to glow, strong patterns slowly move across the irregular rock surfaces. A soundscape becomes apparent growing out of the noise of the wind, and the patterns on the vertical stone faces slowly morph and change. As a musical performance builds in tempo audiences will hear and begin to feel the resonant frequency of ancient instruments. The noises echo from the vertical faces around, as the landscape itself seems to answer these strange sounds. Is it possible that this calling can bring the line of Hadrian’s Wall back to where it once stood?</description>
