Glyndwr's Way crosses some of the finest landscapes in Wales including open moorland, rolling farmland, woodlands and forests. It runs from Knighton via Machynlleth to Welshpool

The Countryside Code

Long sections of the route cross agricultural land and walkers should be aware that this is a workplace for many who live in the countryside.  Please respect this and ensure that all gates are left as they are found.  Should you choose to take your dog, you must ensure that it is on a lead at all times when crossing farmland.

Remember:

  • Be safe – plan ahead and follow any signs
  • Leave gates and property as you find the
  • Protect plants and animals and take your litter home
  • Keep dogs under close control
  • Consider other people

If you follow the Countryside Code wherever you go, you’ll get the most enjoyment possible whilst helping to protect the countryside now and for future generations.
