The Cleveland Way is a 110 mile National Trail between Helmsley and Filey around the North York Moors National Park including the North Yorkshire and Cleveland Heritage Coast.

There are a number of guides that we would recommend you get hold of, so that you can make the most of your time on the Cleveland Way. Some of the Guides are free and can be ordered or downloaded from this site. Other guides can be bought from the North York Moors National Park On-Line Shop, or directly from the publisher

Maps

In order to explore and enjoy both the Cleveland Way and the whole of the North York Moors National Park we recommend that you purchase the Ordnance Survey Explorer Maps numbers OL26 (western area) and OL27 (eastern area). These maps are available at a scale of 1:25 000 and can be ordered from the North York Moors National Park on-line shop. The Outdoor Leisure maps cover the whole of the Cleveland Way between Helmsley and Scarborough. For the final section from Scarborough to Filey you will need the OS Explorer 301.
