Facilities and additional information
Along the coastal cliffs near Whitby where the ships were built that Captain Cook sailed around the world, grows a plant with the common name of scurvygrass. Clusters of small white flowers top a stem surrounded with fleshy long stalked leaves. This common plant has a strong link with one of the greatest explorers and navigators in the world. For more details click here.
