Over 150 walkers joined the celebrations for the Cleveland Ways 40th Birthday on 24th May, walking the full 110 mile route in ten stages.
The weather was incredibly kind, with a good warm sun out all day. Ramblers groups from the surrounding area joined the celebrations, each one selecting their own length of the Cleveland Way to enjoy.
Many were inspired by the occassion. Peter Stephenson from Hunmanby wrote in to say that it was a day he would never forget.
